Ball Control Under Pressure

Can players receive and turn in tight spaces? Do they panic when pressed? First touch quality under match conditions?

Needs Vast Improvement: Players panic when pressed, heavy first touches, lose ball frequently under minimal pressure
Average: Can handle some pressure but inconsistent, technique breaks down when rushed
Good: Comfortable under pressure most of the time, occasional lapses under intense pressure
Excellent for the age group: Calm under intense pressure, use pressure to create opportunities, exceptional for their age

Passing Accuracy & Decision Making

Are they choosing the right pass? Timing of release? Weight and accuracy of passes?

Needs Vast Improvement: Poor pass selection, frequently gives ball away, can't find teammates consistently
Average: Decent passing but poor decisions under pressure, inconsistent weight and timing
Good: Good passing range and decision making, occasional poor choices under intense pressure

Finishing Composure

Conversion rate in training vs matches? Decision making in the box? Technique under pressure?

1v1 Situations

Attacking 1v1s - do they commit defenders? Defensive 1v1s - body position and timing? Confidence in individual battles?

Defensive Organisation

Shape maintenance when out of possession? Pressing triggers and coordination? Communication and leadership?

Transition Speed

How quickly do they switch from attack to defence? From defence to attack? Recognition of transition moments?

Average: Eventually adjust but takes time, limited transition awareness, typical reaction speed for age
Good: Quick transitions most of the time, good game awareness and reaction speed
Excellent for the age group: Instant reaction to possession changes, exploit transition moments, exceptional game intelligence for their age
Physical Assessment

Match Fitness

Can they maintain intensity for full game? Recovery between high-intensity moments? Energy levels in final 15 minutes?

Needs Vast Improvement: Tired after 20 minutes, can't maintain intensity, poor recovery between efforts
Average: Decent fitness but drops off in second half, slower recovery, typical stamina for age
Good: Good endurance, maintain standards for most of game, decent recovery

Strength in Duels
